“Filef Basilicata” was established in 2016, following the transformation of the “Filef Basilicata” volunteer association. The cooperative continues to carry out activities aimed at the active social inclusion of migrants present in the national territory and to carry out activities for the Lucanian communities in the world. Following the transformation, the activities have considerably diversified both for recipients and for areas of intervention.

The recipients of the actions / activities are different targets that experience conditions of specific social hardship such as women, minors, immigrants, drug addicts, people with specific pathologies such as gambling addiction,  etc. The sectors of intervention are:

  • Promotion of a culture of solidarity and social inclusion between people and various social groups;
  • Activation of interventions to promote social tourism;
  • Community welfare activity;
  • Community intervention planning activities;
  • Interventions to fight poverty;
  • Actions and activities to activate greater participation of young people in the social sphere;
  • Social activities in sport, culture and education;
  • Activation of interventions that favor a culture of peace and respect for diversity;
  • Manage professional training activities;
  • Other specific interventions in the social sector as required by the company statute.

The Commission for Filipino Migrant Workers – CFMW Italy is an association founded in 1993 through a collective effort of a group of Filipinos and non-Filipinos residing in Italy and CFMW International (Netherlands), in order to support and provide services and programs for respond to the different needs and problems of the Filipino community in Italy.
CFMW Italy supports the autonomous organization of Filipino migrant workers, promotes and maintains the Filipino cultural identity, creates links or networks between Filipinos present in Italy and in other countries with European peoples and the international community, promotes a sense of responsibility and of participation with respect to social and developmental problems in the Philippines.
It is at the forefront in spreading the concepts and values ​​of intercultural education by applying it to children aged 0 to 6 years.
The activities carried out in favor of the immigrant population are:

  • Management of the Intercultural Center for children from 0 to 3 year Munting Tahanan in agreement with Roma Capitale
  • School support service and in-depth study of the culture of origin
  • Summer Green Point for children from 6 to 12 years old

The “Società Cooperativa Sociale La Casa di Tom” was established in the year 2004.
The company deals with:

1) the implementation of services for immigrants, elderly people, disabled people, children, boys and women;
2) the reception of minors, women with children, adults and families.

It is currently in charge of various reception facilities in central Italy that deal with the assistance of unaccompanied foreign minors, political refugees, as well as vulnerable women and single men included in the SIPROIMI project of the Italian Ministry of the Interior.

The main objective of the company is the integration of people on the Italian territory to ensure them the continuation of a stay in our country through the activities and services listed below:

  1. Training activities by organizing Italian courses and professional courses. Moreover, thanks to the direct involvement of the operators and in particular of the educators, personalized after-school projects with home interventions aimed at enhancing the learning of the Italian language are activated for guests;
  2.  Home educational assistance activities: Multidisciplinary Unit for the Educational Age MUEA) for children in school age and / or Multidisciplinary Educational Unit for Adults / MEUA;
  3. Guidance and legal information: support services for the international protection recognition procedure;
  4. Healthcare and assistance with work accompaniment.
